Send Large Files Free by Email

Email big file attachments

Need to send large files? Tired of having emails bounce back because of large attachments? I have used this service for years to send large files for free. It’s simple to use on both ends. Login and upload your file, then send a secure link to it by email with a personal message. A premium version allows larger files, but the free version has worked great for me. Using a service like this to upload large files and send them by a link is a great FTP alternative. You don’t have to open another program — you can upload your file and send it in one place.

Make a “favicon” quickly

See the cute little clock picture Best Time Tools Favicon at the left of my web address? That’s called a favicon (short for “favorite icon”) and it gives your web site a graphical identity in the browser window as well as in various favorites/bookmarks lists.

Upload a picture to this web site and it will make you one in no time:

Favicon maker- Create a favicon from any image

Once you have it, place the “favicon.ico” file in the root directory of your web site.

Alternate tool:

Meet Me Half Way

This is just too easy.

Type in your address (or just your zip code) and THEIR address, and then tell MeetWays what kind of place you’d like to meet at… like “coffee”… and zippidy doo dah… up come several options for places to meet your friend or business associate.

Networking types will love this!

If you prefer to have them pick from locations that you already know, the My Maps feature of Google is a great option too. Click here to see all the places that the Disambiguator hangs out with his business friends.
